2/ so then, the *big* question is: is there another model that could let creatives do what they love (e.g. create more content, art, whatever) and *still* have that same source of demand for their underlying asset with a consumer friendly entry point. in other words, how do you turn attention that content captures into a reliable source of demand for your token ($GDUPI).

unfortunately, I think this is still an unsolved problem: but I *do* think it's possible to solve. putting aside the specific mechanics, imagine if you could:

1. create content
2. when that content gets attention and people engage (e.g. like, collect) that drives demand back to your underlying token

the more content you create, the more attention you get, the more demand you drive.

at its core, this is the endgame that @zora is trying to solve. and while I don't think the current product fully does it, I think they are an iteration or two away. the key will be closing the feedback loop, then building enough attention to make it spin fast.

jesse: if Yon launched gdupi today as a ‘content coin’ on Zora, would it be considered a success? would it validate your thesis about content coins + zora? 

yon has earned (going by today’s prices) >$25,000 from $GDUPI rewards

total creator rewards on (post-coin) zora are ~$460,000 

Yon has individually earned ~5.5% of creator rewards earned by ~all~ zora coin creators. 

he is incredible btw, as you know and we’ve discussed. he earned these rewards because of his own exceptional efforts, talent, with some minor help on our side with distribution. 

just trying to understand: what about Yon’s experience leads you to believe that many more coins = a better model for artists? he basically did the opposite of some of the content coin stuff you’ve describe. Yon very much stepped up to seize the opportunity / obligation of creating cool work around the coin.

and what about it tells you zora is the platform to help them do so vs. clanker? slightly confused as to the reference there.

and like none of this is to be fake about the realities here - I know that Yon cares about this, I know Jesse does too, I know that 

I actually am just authentically confused because to me this is probably a bad example to use for why creators should tokenize more (as a strategy)

I wasn't going to launch any zora cointent and decided launching 1 cointent and using all that profit to pump my $stableai clanker was the strategy

It's ok to exist across platforms but the main goal should be to boost longevity

Zora doesn't promote longevity , it's more attention based. Fleeting attention. Some memes stick 
Some projects build utility

Builders can build with clanker
Can't say that about zora

True, but actually both are good and coexist together. 

Im a degen so Clanker still better on memes and degen culture. 

If im a content creator with Cooking niche - I can look to Zora to have exposure onchain and generate new audience. either for work, personal, brands etc.

This is actually something that @diviflyy and I have been considering in regards to Empire Builder.

We're always on the look out for other projects that align well, that have components we can integrate in a beneficial way

I see a bunch of new tokens that haven't even explored lp rewards like on rebase

Those drove a ton of traffic to my coin all while helping to stabilize the price

I look at all of these as different tools for different uses. We need to align & create flows/strategies that use the right tools for the right job

To me (biased) it ofc makes sense to deploy a core token via EmpireBuilder (clanker, but you get 60% of fees) and use the Empire tool stack as the utility/rewards distribution/marketing assist hub.

You can then use zora, rodeo, etc as top of funnel places to grow audience/community, while using all of that inline with your core/main project clanker token

There are way more tools & resources that need to be developed to reduce the friction for creators, but these discussions are important and help to bring us forward towards solutions

truth!! They their pros and cons so overall I think it will coexist in the long run.
