Thanks all for everyone who has tested @dauso far before launch! Some updates: Still on track to officially launch @dau this week. Have been doing some test runs this week and have gained some good traction with it already. Here are the things that we still need to iron out before launch: 1. Core mechanics - The DAU app is fairly simple: show up each day, complete tasks, earn rewards. We want to make sure this experience feels as smooth as possible and users have context on why they're completing certain tasks and how it benefits DAU. This is something that we've been iterating on. 2. Third-parties creating rewards - We're deeply thinking about how we can open reward creation to third-party mini apps who want to distribute tokens for transactions for their own mini apps and leverage the user base of DAU. This will be something that we revisit post-launch, but will require us to be tasteful to avoid any spam on the main feed. 3. $DAU - We plan on having a token for DAU that aligns incentives between the core team, the users, and the mini apps leveraging DAU. We'll most likely do this by taxing transactions and re-distributing it to token holders periodically. We want to be extremely thoughtful and flexible in our approach so we can maximize value for token holders. For transparency sake, we're most likely going to be rolling our own contract here so we don't pigeonhole ourselves, but will continue to be explore options here. If you have any questions or feedback, please comment below, will be tipping users who have thoughtful questions or feedback on the product or approach who are in alignment.

What was the point in voting on ponder if you were always going to write your own contract anyway? Testing the water and raising 100 eth on farstore for funsies?

we are always going to be using mini apps. we wanted to explore each option fully. there was never any mention that we would use the decision

When you ask the community to vote , its implied in good faith Especially when you term it as we need to make an important decision Now it looks like you were expecting a different answer and backing out after asking the community where to launch Exploring options and asking the community to make a decision though, two completely different things
