This is an image created with ChatGPT of my computer studio in 1998. On the screen: two blue Buddhas, made in 1998 with an Intel Pentium P54CS. I was using Paint Shop Pro 4. There were serious hardware limitations: my computer was slow and had very little RAM. Working in high resolution or with many layers often caused crashes. At that time, I was thrilled by the new possibilities my computer opened up for art. How could I have imagined that 28 years later I would be regarded as an internet pioneer — and be included as such in the archive of The Feminist Institute, New York?
