Heading out for a 3-day trip — our first without the kids in 6 years. I know they’ll be fine, but my heart is struggling 😢 Parents, how do you manage this?

As woman we grow with lots of such guilts. We need to learn and try not to get into that. Don’t think of anything… just have fun!

Yes! They’re in the safest, most loving hands with both sets of grandparents — I truly couldn’t ask for better. Just a little mom guilt kicking in, but I’m sure it’ll pass once I step out the door. Thank you so much for the encouragement! 💜

You know that with one whom you are leaving your kids will love and take care of your kids more than you do.. and that assurance should make you worry free… I try to be in place where I am and not to think about what and how kids are doing… that’s my trick… for me it’s like a switch.
