Let’s start this series with the basics of prompting: structured prompting & Chain-of-thought (CoT).
They give your AI just enough structure and reasoning to avoid guessing and improving the output. 

1️⃣ Structured prompting
🔹 structure: break down prompt into role, goal, format, tone, constraints
🔹 when to use: for briefs, copy frameworks (like AIDA or PAS), brand messaging
🔹 example: 
“write a PAS-style headline for a crypto wallet.
problem: losing seed phrases.
agitate: causes stress and lost funds.
solution: this tool stores and encrypts safely.
    
2️⃣ Chain of thought (CoT)
🔹 structure: guide the model step-by-step, force reasoning before conclusion
🔹 when to use: for strategy, analytics, content plans
🔹 example: “build a Q3 strategy for a DeFi product. step 1: analyse trends. step 2: segment audience. step 3: define messaging. step 4: suggest platform mix.”

Today’s prompts are about nuance. When you want the AI to sound like you, or to tailor content for a specific persona or tone.

3️⃣ Few-shot prompting
🔹 Structure:show 2–5 input-output examples in your prompt
🔹 When to use: for tone alignment, brand voice, nuanced writing
🔹 example:
provide:
- a few examples of outcomes you want to replicate
- your best performing copy or previous top posts
"now write 3 more posts in the same style for our campaign in a cheeky and casual tone".
    
4️⃣ Persona-driven prompting
🔹 Structure: assign the model a specific role to shape tone and style
🔹 When to use: for target audience empathy, objection handling, support
🔹 Example: “act as a skeptical NFT collector. what might stop you from buying this drop? Then, as the project lead, respond to the concern clearly.”

Today’s prompts are about nuance. When you want the AI to sound like you, or to tailor content for a specific persona or tone.
