one on the left feels like one of the fake Rolex’s you can pick up at the Greenhills Shopping Center you can pick up in the Philippines

as crazy as it sounds, the one on the left has a Seiko movement and the one on the right has a Chinese movement, haha

the fakes in the Philippines had perpetual motion and were such good replicas (not that I’m an expert) that I ended up getting a bunch of them and a few Brietlings as well as gifts for a bunch of friends lol

A long time ago I worked for a company, threw my work I learned about US shoe manufacturers in China that would make the real deal during the day and then at night a whole new crew would come in (unbeknownst) to the brand and that crew would crank out fakes in the middle in the night, usually using slightly inferior materials, but also in some cases the exact same materials etc, and effectively produce perfect fakes that technically weren’t fake, just not approved by the brand… and from there hit the streets for sale in black markets etc. It was crazy some of the things I learned…

some of these replicas are virtually indistinguishable from the real things, down to the details on the movement when you open up the watch. it's crazy
