Sometimes I think about how we carry people in our minds long after they’re gone. Not just memories, but the way they shaped how we see ourselves. I’m grateful for the ones who taught me about patience, even when they didn’t know they were doing it. And for the moments that broke me a little, because they forced me to rebuild stronger. It’s strange how much of who we become is borrowed from others, isn't it? I wonder what parts of me are really mine.
