woke up not choosing peace today, so i’m gonna say it i’m so sick of the term “thirst trap” and how people use it indiscriminately to frame women’s content as sexual you post a selfie in a tank top? thirst trap you look soft or dreamy in a cute dress? thirst trap you post a real nude? desperate 'thirst trap' you can’t post a cute outfit, a peaceful photo at the beach, or literally just your face without someone reading it as an invitation or a performance. the line between simply existing and being sexualized is just gone and it’s fucking exhausting this is your reminder, gals: no matter what we post, people will find a way to demonize it—so do you. don’t let this stupid shit get in your head happy casting 💋

They clearly never seen a thirst trap before. Im so confused why everyone is so against female parts all the sudden. And seeing this small perspective from orher women is even more heart wrecking

Thirst traps are a simple projection of the insecure man. They call it a trap because they’re desperate, but project that desperation to the woman, making what she posts as a call to men’s attention. The reason for the blurred lines is because of porn. The lack of empathy is astounding. On the otheside tho “thirst traps” are a nice reminder to the man on the woman’s elegant existence and it shouldn’t be frowned upon if he wanted to fall for her by reaching out. This can be done is a non creepy way than it usually goes, but that’s another topic
