I believe supporting someone to improve is an act of love. "Pushing" feels like an attack when a person isn't yet ready to improve. You cannot force it, and if you do, then it's clearly more about you than the person you love.

Yeah, you should support rather than push cos with supporting, you tend to understand the persons situation and view also
