Feature request: muting a channel to prevent posts from showing up in my feed. (even if recasted by someone I follow)

Already exists. When you add a muted keyword you can choose it to apply to channels in the dialog. Let us know if it is not working.

Yes. They are not separated at this time. With that being said — I could see why you may not want to do that for generalized topic channels.

If I mute "food" and select the apply to channel option, will it also hide posts that contain that word?
