@greygood
I recently saved two dogs.
Imagine two network states. One protects animals. The other agrees that abusing and killing them is acceptable.
Balaji Srinivasan calls this freedom of association and “consensual government.” How civilized.
But the dogs never agreed.
Consent among the powerful is not consent from those subject to their power.
Freedom to leave does not absolve a society of responsibility toward those who cannot.
That is the network state model’s inherent, fundamental flaw.
