1/ U.S. Global Policies and the Theories of Heartland and Rimland For the past century, U.S. global policies have revolved around Halford Mackinder’s Heartland Theory and its opposing theory, Rimland, introduced by Nicholas Spykman. Russia, in the Saudi negotiations, has demanded the annexation of all Ukrainian territories captured by Russia into the Russian Federation, even if it does not directly govern them. However, these territories must be officially recognized as part of Russia. Trump should not grant this concession to Russia so easily and should reduce Russia's dominance in the Heartland as much as possible. Let me explain further. 👇

A new map of global trade is taking shape! The highest U.S. tariffs since the 1930s are redrawing the world! 🇺🇸 One by one, countries are stepping out from under Washington’s shadow 👇 Canada now buys more of its cars from Mexico than from the U.S.! China has stopped buying soybeans from American farmers and turned to South America instead! India and China have also resumed trade relations after years of pause. According to Bloomberg: “Trump’s tariffs didn’t stop global trade — they just changed its direction!” 📈 WTO data shows that global trade growth in 2025 has jumped from 0.9% to 2.4%. That means the 85% of world trade happening outside the U.S. is now spinning faster than ever! Europe is rapidly signing new trade deals (with Indonesia, Brazil, Australia...) China has massively expanded its exports to Asia, Europe, and Africa. 🔻 The result: The world is learning to live and trade without America... Tariffs have redrawn the map of the global economy!
