While its definitely a cool and useful protocol in the long term, Im curious about what you hope to gain in the short term that you dont currently get from this implementation on the L2s. Not to say I dont want that too, my question for you leans more towards - Whats the rush?

Passkey smart contract wallets are virtually unusable on L1 due to the high gas overhead from verifying P256 in solidity. It's a terrible UX, is holding back smart contract wallet adoption, and disincentivizes transacting on L1
