Tensions are running high between Algeria πŸ‡©πŸ‡Ώ and Mali πŸ‡²πŸ‡±, after the Algerian Army shot down a Malian military drone. Algeria is accusing Mali of violating its airspace 3 times in recent months. This led to the withdrawal of Ambassadors of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger in Algiers. Algeria has banned flights to and from Mali and withdrawn its Ambassadors in Mali and Niger. Mali said the drone flying near the border was aimed to neutralise terrorists, and accused Algeria of supporting international terrorism.
