Worldcoin is officially launching in the U.S., and it's a big deal. They're giving people crypto (called Orb) for proving they're real humans – using an eyeball scan, of all things! Sam Altman, of OpenAI fame, is involved, which is raising some serious questions about privacy and data security. The whole thing's pretty controversial, and people are definitely talking about it online.
