Kids are having a screen free summer and ahead of that we’re doing a week with basically no screen limits. Going about as you’d expect 😂 My wife makes them do a morning standup on intent and evening standup on execution. Three days in it’s like, “yeah I want to watch all day”

Lol on standups How old are your kids? What are the normal limits (and are there different rules for TV vs devices)? Mine are 2 and 6 and neither touches devices except the 6 y/o does some homework and uses procreate to draw on the weekends. The only time she gets to watch videos on it is if we're on a plane 😅 TV is pretty loose tho. Other than mornings before school, we have few restrictions. i sometimes wonder if we should further restrict it.

9, 6, and 4 Our progression over the years - Ad hoc iPad and movie watching: a few times week - One movie night a week, no other screens - Movie night + iPad night (30 minutes) - Earn 15 minutes of iPad for each math lesson completed It was the final one that blew the doors open and made it a daily thing :)
