Donald Trump, the former U.S. President, said he got the impression that Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is "ready to cut interest rates." According to Walter Bloomberg, Trump stated, "Yesterday, I got the sense from Chairman Powell that a rate cut is likely." Regarding trade negotiations with multiple countries, he added, "Most of the agreements will likely be reached by August 1st (local time)."
