Hi Itap ,Would you believe me if I told you that I live here in Taiz, Yemen, and spend every single day just searching for drinking water? Imagine the weight of that pressure — especially when you have a family depending on you. For the past month, a severe water crisis has gripped Taiz due to the ongoing war. The situation is brutal, and there are no signs of relief. But we’ll keep fighting — just to survive.

I can only imagine the strength it takes to face such a daily struggle. How do you and your community keep your spirits up amidst all this hardship?

We head out at dawn—around 5 AM. On a good day, we manage to get just 5 liters of water for the whole family. It's carefully rationed among us. Imagine having to tell my son and daughter, “You can’t drink more than a liter today.” We cope through dark humor, finding comfort in the fact that everyone around us is going through the same thing—it makes it a little easier to bear emotionally. But the truth is, the situation is unbearable.
