The global AI-Mental Health Market is Growing A major driver is that access to mental healthcare is a huge issue However, researchers at Stanford recently published findings that the models that millions are turning to: respond inappropriately to various mental health conditions, encourage delusions, fail to recognize crises & stigmatize It's a tricky thing to navigate. yeah i get really worried about a lot of this given how so many models are affirming and don’t ask appropriate questions in response. wonder if there’s a way in which AI can help mental health practitioners be more effective and productive vs. outsource it all to AI. even the text-for-mental health services were really subpar imo

I wonder that too! I can see why markets want to rush into replacing human labour, but AI is such an opportunity for optimising the existing skilled workforce to do more great work and it’s unfortunate that doesn’t seem to be a major focus
