I call this the manager vs creative debate. Which skill set wins? 

To me it seems obvious

I often have this very debate with my brother (math phd) and believe that creative skills will be more of a differentiator than quantitative / logic skills, at least for the median knowledge worker over the next decade

Whoa this “we tell people to be good at math so we can control them” conspiracy theory is great

I have so much respect for Peter Thiel but am also so afraid of him and many of his beliefs

It's simple, society is shifting from chess test to Go/baduk test

or perhaps thiel wants you not to understand math/logic so you can be controlled by technology.
