One of the worst features that Twitter has right now is to show liked tweets by accounts that you follow. It could be good but the way it is implemented it surfaces a ton of useless content. I just unfollow whoever liked a silly tweet, but I wonder if they had a better way of surfacing content, I wouldn't have to...

LinkedIn has the same feature. I'm sure it increases some metrics for some PM inside the company... At least for me, it showcases a lot of bad content....

IME, unfollowing the liker doesnโt send the same signal to the algorithm as using the โnot interested in this tweetโ option. Try that, maybe? I started seeing improvements after training it on about ~30 tweets. It probably wasnโt the best move for them to hide that option behind a dropdown menuโฆ

also some people wonโt like a tweet just because they donโt want a specific person to see that they liked this tweet. gotta prevent the preference cascade

Ditto on RTs. So often I go to the acc I flow and tap 'turn off RTs ' And also 'show fewer likes from X'
