Rent is crazy right now, my old apartment in LA is double in 10 years

it appears the all time high (since 2004) was in 2011

It may mean it takes 2-3 years for lenders to get real and stop the “pretend and extend” game. Lookout 2025

So what does this mean in the greater context? I don't remember anything particularly important happening around 2011-2012 other than the bottom of housing prices and the supposed end of the world. Housing prices are at ATH now.

Is there a ribbon I can put in my bio to solve this problem?
