I still think tipping casts directly through a cast action is a more natural way to support creators than collectibles. One is about showing appreciation, the other feels more like playing signal and status games https://farcaster.xyz/ghostlinkz.eth/0x07897e2a

this one is so fundamental, it shouldnt be an action, it should fundamentally included in the UI

Not sure I undersatnd what you mean by fundamentally in the UI? The cast action button used to be in the exact same spot as the collectible button is now. With cast actions, tipping could’ve been a one-click experience using a default amount, two clicks if the user wanted to choose from preset options (example: $1, $5, $10) or even allow for a custom amount, similar to how the "change bid amount" option works for collectibles. I also think cast authors should be able to decide whether the dollar amount they’ve earned is publicly visible, even if that info is still accessible onchain.

I mean at the same level of interaction as comment/reshare/like. Cast actions are good, but first you need to add them. Then when you click on the cast action button, you need to select the one you want (here, tipping), and only THEN, you can actually tip.
