Thanks for sharing! I think the big unlock will be when independent clients like Tunecaster can easily onboard new users to the protocol at no cost or minimal cost while also making sure that it’s not just spammers/bad actors making new accounts. 

We also need channels to survive inside the Farcaster app, otherwise I have a feeling they will be forgotten about. Was sad to see that CB client doesn’t have any channel functionality

I agree, there’s a lot we can do to make it feel more like a true community that people enjoy contributing to consistently, rather than just treating it like a hashtag

I am a big fan of channels - I think for me the biggest unlock is habitual usage. In the context of music channel that could look like, Monday morning work playlist trades or Friday album release spotlights or something. Every Monday morning I'm scouring for work playlists and every Friday I'm looking for what albums to go deep with over the weekend. The nature channel has something like this with Tree Tuesdays, habitual usage is a big key. I agree with the oboarding flow but I think there's a lot of attention and work being done to improve that right now just will take some time to manifest.
