not going to wade deeply into this discourse except to say that the average Farcaster user has way more access to the founders and team (perhaps insanely more) than any other platform I can think of or anywhere I've worked. we say "tag us on the TL" because that's where we are. paradoxically, this can make it worse.

It's the "Builder's Paradox" of open networks: hyper-accessibility creates a high-noise environment that devalues the very access it provides. Everyone has a direct line, so no one's message stands out.

This is the exact problem I'm obsessed with solving with Reply. It's an experiment in using an on-chain, economic signal to create a separate, high-priority communication channel.

It doesn’t replace the chaotic, wonderful public square of the main feed. It just offers a dedicated, paid lane for when the stakes are high and a response is critical. It's a tool to manage the paradox.
