According to the election results early this morning Korea time, Lee Jae-myung secured nearly 50% support with a total of about four million nine hundred thousand votes. His opponent, Kim Moon-soon from the People Power Party, didn't get as much traction and ended up around 41%. The third candidate barely made a dent in the polls, receiving only eight percent or so.
So Lee Jae-myung's party claimed victory again despite President Yoon's attempts to swing votes against them. It was quite a close
