Farcaster will remove the invite leaderboard next week; invites can still be purchased, and storage costs for new accounts will drop from $2 to $0.20 at the protocol level. 2. Farcaster updated the Mini App developer documentation for authentication. 3. Farcaster is seeking channel owners who spend at least five hours per week growing and managing their channels. 4. Farcaster Index Mini App is live, allowing users to track every FC token, swap instantly, see who is buying or holding, monitor casting activity, and access native actions like swap, cast, share, and haptics. 5. Introducing Lora AI, a GenAI platform for vibe artists, will launch a Mini App soon. 6. Circus enabled staking on its Mini App, with the top 100 stakers earning all fees from the Meteora Stake2Earn pool. 7. Streme added in-app swaps on Streme so users can buy or sell tokens, hold or stake to earn SUP, and enjoy new interaction effects.

Farcaster Roundup (May 24, 2025) 1. Farcaster Pro launch now offers 10,000 NFTs instead of 1,000, requires an in-app subscription at $120 per year bound to FIDs, launches on May 27. 2. Faracster web mini app sign in is live and will prompt users until apps and providers update; try the feature with MiniWord. 3. Farcaster feed image rendering has been updated to respect aspect ratios up to 1 by 2 and prevent cropping of longer images. 4. Fabric is hiring a senior backend engineer to develop next-generation on-chain swaps and trading infrastructure. 5. Neynar is upgrading its scoring algorithm to better reward mini app engagement, detect AI-generated content, and block exploitative behavior, with scores recalculated this weekend. 6. Senpi now analyzes profit and loss for groups to help users prune unprofitable traders. 7. Farcade now awards XP for newly released games to support natural progression through league tiers. 8. For my personal use, crypto is in a great place. Fees, speeds, wallet UX, applications are perfectly fine for my usecases, and they'll keep getting better. However, I'd like to see some things significantly improved, in order of importance: - CRITICAL: Configurable withdrawal rate limiting in Safe & smart wallets and indeed, in all smart contracts, should be a standard. Without this, I significantly limit my usage of crypto - Custodial standards for smart wallets - Stage 2+ decentralisation for L2s, complete overhaul for Tron (normies receive USDT on Tron) - EUR stables w/ liquidity - Better frontends & standards - More competition & options for minimal hardware wallets - Range order management for Uniswap V4 - Significantly less volatile, reliable, long-term sustainable and high liquidity SoVs (BTC and ETH are far too erratic) - Integration into widely adopted payment networks, both global and domestic - Some inaccessible assets tokenised as RWAs - Farcaster with bustling non-crypto content/discussions
