Pretty cool. Probably better than 90% of my uber/lyft experiences

Hard to imagine these in NYC though

Ahaha for sure! But also, one of my thoughts was, what do I even do if it happens? Call support after calling 911? Stay there until the cops show up and talk to Waymo support? lol

Oof sounds anxiety inducing but we’ve all had human drivers who are more anxiety inducing lol

I use Waymo a lot in LA, and most of the time the experience is great, but I’ve definitely had some scary ones too lol. One time, a bunch of runners from the Venice Run Club were crossing the street, and instead of waiting, the car just paused and then slowly started driving into the crowd. I was having a panic attack because I thought it was about to run someone over 😭

part of the experience is NY is talking with your cabbie. don't want to lose that!
