I don't think people are realizing the Israel/US invasion of Iran is as significant as it is yet. People probably are thinking this is like last year and will fade in days. But both sides appear to be in an existential position. Israel/US side wants to topple the Iranian regime. Iran wants to survive and not get nuked and has been put in a position where it has to go headlong into all out war or be destroyed. Maybe it could be de-escalated from here, I'm always hopeful, but as it stands both sides are heading into perhaps the largest US war in decades. Israel could be very close to using a nuclear weapon with US support which would absolutely throw the world into chaos. Iran could pre-empt this or respond with unconventional warfare on a larger scale than we've seen. This is truly a terrifying situation. Wishing safety for everyone in the region.

It doesn't make any sense to pretend this isn't a US war. Israel is basically a US military base. This is yet another illegal, unjustifiable, evil war by the US that will only contribute to its eventual collapse. Both the ruling party and the main "opposition" party are in favor of all of these wars. Protest is suppressed. Free speech is limited. So humanity, what should we do? How can we work together to avoid this path towards extinction the ruling class has us running down?

Specifically the government. Not sure about the citizens, but they seem to agree and support the government mostly.
