The scenius Seeing this concept flourishing in Farcaster is both a fascinating promise, a joy, and a sense of accomplishment. Not for me, but for an artist I admire. The concept of scenius was invented by Brian Eno, the creator of ambient music and a pioneer of generative art. It is a combination of the words “scene” and “genius.” The idea is that major changes, such as famous works of art, are often the result of a group of people at a given moment in time, whose ideas influence each other and generate a loop of innovation that leads to historic advances. We can say that the scenius is the creative intelligence of a community. I also see this idea as an act of conceptual art that is succeeding in transforming our vision of reality.
