Ethena Labs and Securitize today announced the upcoming launch of Converge, a dedicated EVM blockchain optimized for retail and institutional DeFi. Converge will benefit from on-chain applications and products from initial partners such as Pendle, Aave Labs' Horizon project, Ethereal, Morpho, and Maple Finance. Ethena will focus its institutional product offering on Converge and seek to migrate its existing DeFi ecosystem, which currently has nearly $6 billion in assets.
