Sakiori is the name of a Japanese technique where thin strips are cut from old clothing scraps and a new cloth is woven. Saki means cutting fabric, ori means weaving. Small brands like Tomo Kishida, which decorate jackets and shirts with this handle, cost a pretty penny.
