We are more than excited to present the duo show The Untranslated during this year’s Gallery Weekend Berlin, featuring paintings by Berlin-based Korean artist You Hyeonkyeong and Chinese artist Linhan Yu, whose works explore what resists translation into language or image, shaped by their experiences between Europe and their Asian roots. The exhibition is curated by Yeni Ma, and the opening will take place on Friday, May 1, from 18:00 to 21:00. Welcome to drop by if you are in Berlin! The Untranslated brings together the works of two painters, You Hyeonkyeong and Linhan Yu, who seek to make visible through painting what cannot be wholly translated into any language or visual form.
