We are pleased to present Names of Places I Have Never Heard, a solo exhibition by @kenconsumer at SP2 Gallery in Berlin, featuring pen-plotted paintings and drawings created between 2025 and 2026. The works will also be released on Met Digital.
The opening will take place on Friday, June 19, from 18:00–21:00, and the exhibition will be on view on Saturday and Sunday, June 20–21, from 12:00 onwards. We look forward to welcoming you to Berlin!
In Names of Places I Have Never Heard, painting becomes a site where digital architectures, imagined landscapes, and memory converge. Combining plotter-generated structures with painterly interventions, the works move between precision and disruption, creating spaces that feel both familiar and inaccessible. Glitch-like formations, fragmented systems, and obscured surfaces evoke psychological terrains shaped by displacement, navigation, and uncertainty, where order continually gives way to new possibilities.
