Installation views of the solo exhibition Names of Places I Have Never Heard by @kenconsumer at SP2 Gallery. Works such as City of Broken Views and Intense Instance present heavy accumulations of architectural forms, evoking pixelated topographies or technological ruins. In contrast, the rigid verticality of There was a Fountain and the dense geometries of It Came with a Certificate suggest a desperate attempt to impose order upon a volatile field. Throughout these pieces, systemic organization is perpetually challenged by the inevitability of decay.
