Installation views of @loackme's solo exhibition Playgrounds. On view until April 25.
Playgrounds brings together three years of algorithmic tinkering. The work starts from a simple premise. Coding, as a creative practice, should be an act of play. Not play as leisure, but play as a mode of inquiry: using algorithms in unintended ways, breaking them, twisting them, seeing where a chain of what-if moments leads. The results are less discovered than stumbled upon. The process is the practice.
