Finally got my Pinion world touring bike dialled in exactly. -XL tout terrain tanami frame -29er Lightbicycle carbon rims laced to Son dynamo and singlespeed rear hub -Pinion C12 gearbox -Gates belt drive -TRP Hylex hydraulic brakes -Rene Herse 700x55c slick tubeless tires -Honjo fenders -SQLab saddle -Cane creek headset Some other cool details, eg to mount the pinion shifter with drop bars, I had to spec a special three part separable drop bar. Anyway, rides like a dream. Nothing really to upgrade. 10k kms till the next servicing. 😀

This is literally the final Pokémon for me. I’ve owned moultons, mtbs, carbon race bikes, vintage French and italia, folding bikes, Rohloff bikes, pinion bikes, but a Pedersen is the final bike to try Back when I lived in Shanghai there was an owner. Whenever I’d see him around it was maximum bicycle aura.
