We stayed in touch.
Scott’s been in the NYC real estate world a long time. He’s seen cycles, deals, chaos, everything.
But the line he said that stuck with me had nothing to do with closings.
“When you start in real estate — or any business — build your business on the back of caring about people.”
That’s it.
In an industry obsessed with volume and transactions, that mindset is rare.
And he lives it.
Since I started breaking into NYC real estate, he’s been one of my biggest supporters — not because he had to be, but because that’s who he is.
The best people in this business aren’t just sharp.
