More surgery story time below: 

Here’s where the doctor was able to make the incision, near the armpit, instead of directly on top of the breast. The size of the mass ended up being too big to photograph in one sonogram image (12+cm). It ended up going into my rotator cuff, collarbone, and behind the areola. Yes, that sucker was a big one 🎣 and medically classified as in the “giant” size range 🧌

I’ll never know how the surgeon was so talented and precise. He was able to make a small 5cm incision and slowly remove it and a small bit of muscle tissue.

After 3 months, I’m just starting to get a little feeling in the chest/pectoral region. Which honestly is about right on schedule! See I thought I was special and could heal super fast with my sheer conviction and willpower 🤡 I did have a mild complication of seroma, which we can talk about next time maybe… 🙏💗
