Are hybrids more expensive to maintain than traditional gas powered cars?

Intuitively it would seem like yes with two different systems, but the reported aggregate data doesn't suggest that's the case.

If you have proof one way or the other please share.

idk man, my hybrid's been cheaper on gas and maintenance so far 🤷‍♂️ maybe it's the make/model? anyone else got experience with this?
