“Put yourself in their shoes” assumes shoes fit universally. Real empathy is more like: “Acknowledge they’re wearing shoes made for feet unlike yours, walking paths you’ve never trodden.”

Right and in many cases I can’t even put myself in their shoes. This is ok I understand that I don’t fully understand . Still, the grace/faith makes it complete for love compassion. I will therefore grow towards the eternal and lasting.
