People that use more than one question mark when you ask a question, what is your tone?

Example: “how do I configure the time limit???”

I interpret the added question marks as a signal of desperation and disbelief that such a question need be asked.

Is that the intent or am I misinterpreting.

i see it as being casual

i add extra question marks when i want to be casual, 1 question mark feels too direct lol

probably more common than you think, i believe it's a gen-z thing
