Cheating and dishonest service people. But many reasons altogether. After my visit to Brussels 🇧🇪 year ago I am shocked to see what Europe has become 🫠

Bali do this all the time, but because it's still dirt cheap to foreigners due to indonesia's weak currency, no one takes it seriously 🫠

I bet $1 fried rice places are harder to come by now. Most places in Asia have prices almost doubled. Probably small exception I noticed is Seoul 🇰🇷 where competition is so strong that cafe prices remain very competitive.

there are still $1 warung around, i hope they are not gentrified, canggu has become so gentrified 🫠

Like in Bali I could eat as a local for $1.00 (back in 2016) and no one would try to gauge me. 

Yes, I'd tip sometimes or buy food/things I don't need to keep a bit more money in their local economy.

Seemingly all Bali is now touristy ¯\ _(ツ)_/¯ 
I was in an area known for nomads and surfers where people are asleep at 10pm lol, and enjoy areas of drug-fueled rave parties a bit less 😅

Interesting. Bali treated me well, I've visited it many times and spent there months. Maybe I was upset at one or two people for trying to take advantage of a tourist (for like $5 maybe?!), but overall my experience with locals was amazing.
