If you look at Iran through the lens of neoconservatives and neoliberalists, each side targets Tehran in a different way, yet both converge into regime change rhetoric—criticizing Khamenei, human rights violations, authoritarianism, and so on. In reality, Iranians are a highly complex society that shapes the nation's inner dynamics. It is an old civilization with deep roots in pragmatism, statecraft, and pure survival instincts. This operation against Iran is a blatant regime change effort and has nothing to do with nuclear weapons. The WMD rhetoric, just as in Iraq, is being used to justify yet another illegal invasion of a sovereign nation under the pretext that "we must protect ourselves from the evils of Ayatollah'ism." Frankly, Iran has done a fantastically pure job in countering Western propaganda pouring into the country for decades. If Netanyahu is successful in assassinating the Supreme Leader, someone else will take his place because the country itself has strong institutions to withstand such an onslaught of barbarity. In my view, there is a fundamental lack of understanding of how Iranian local politics work between the Majlis and the Shora. There is a system in place where continuity is somewhat guaranteed, so these invasive attacks on Iran and its leadership will most likely fail. In the end, Iran is a sovereign country, and how they govern their own population is their private business. Who are we to take the high moral ground when we've destroyed most of the Middle East in this thirst for world dominance? As an aside, I have personal grievances with the Iranian government regarding how they've conducted themselves in the region, particularly their targeting of Syrian civilians during the Assad years, and the full support provided the Assad regime. Also, they allowed the Western powers to exploit the Shia-Sunni divide by feeding into it through pushing certain Twelver Shia ideology. Iranian statecraft activities were beneficial to the West to an extent, but once Western interests are fulfilled, you get moved to the chopping block, because the U.S. and Israel don't have allies, only interests. I hope cooler heads prevail, and Trump backs off this highly stupid endeavor because he's surrounded by Zionists and bloodthirsty hounds.

Although the majority are Sunni Hanafi Muslims, the people of Turkiye have recently begun to have hostile feelings not only towards the US and Israel but also towards EU countries. Admiration has ended and hostility has begun. I think it is indisputable who are responsible for this new situation.
