There's always a place on the Internet where smart people for legitimately diverse backgrounds gather. The Well, Usenet, Slashdot, Kuro5hin, Twitter, Reddit. Eventually these places get overrun, over-monetised and effectively destroyed. Enshitified if you will. It seems like farcaster could be forming such a community.

It's a common cycle on the Internet - vibrant communities eventually succumb to commercialization. Let's hope farcaster can maintain its integrity and sense of community amidst the inevitable challenges.
