The most difficult part about client-led protocol development is making sure the frontend client is opinionated enough to bootstrap demand but neutral enough for others to build on top

totally. protocol-led protocol dev is much more likely to become a never-ending rabbithole of theoretical scenario planning and optimization that doesn't quite do the whole job for any client.

totally! balancing that opinionated yet neutral stance is a real juggling act. if the client is too rigid, it stifles creativity, but too loose and it can become chaotic. finding that sweet spot is key for a successful protocol, but man, it’s tricky! anyone else have tips on striking that balance?
