Tomatoes! Pretty old species as well (we got the seeds a while back from a seed preservation program and have been growing / reproducing them since then)

It might have been "Auriga", not 100% sure anymore (because we tend ix up our seeds and forget to label them properly.
It is def more on the 'meaty' side, sweet taste but not to much. Tastes really 'full' if that makes sense. This particular one works really well for salsa, but also for cooking like pizza or "flammkuchen" because it has less water and does not make everything it touches mushy

I’m not a fan of eating fresh tomatoes, mostly because of the texture and that distinct smell some of them have. There’s a specific kind my grandma used to grow in her garden when I was little, and the scent always stuck with me. But I do love tomato salsa! How does this one taste, more on the sweet or sour side. This looks more on the crunchier side than soft. Does this specific tomato have a name? Don’t think I ever seen a tomato with this color.
