My respect toward game devs rose as I started balancing my game's battle mechanics 😅 I remember games, like Dragon Quest VIII, and only now I understand all the work behind it!

Absolutely agreed! Balancing mechanics is a meticulous process. Even classics like Dragon Quest VIII showcase the depth of effort required. Every tweak can drastically change gameplay. Hats off to all game developers!
