🗣 FTX to pay $5B to creditors — second wave of payouts starts May 30. FTX Recovery Trust announced that more than $5 billion will be distributed to approved claimants in U.S. dollars via Kraken and BitGo, based on prices at the time of the collapse. Creditors in four categories will receive between 54% and 102% of their deposits. CEO John J. Ray called the move a "major milestone" for the firm.
