Deep.af is coming. 100% cypherpunk, 100% based, 100% private. Just you and Deepseek R1. The only way in? Hold $DS.

What model will it be using? From the screenshot I'd say the 1.5b one

As default model, yes. The stable release will let people choose their preferred model. But for speed, the first release will default to 1.5b, and it’s on its way. 🫑

I'm running them locally (using open-webui), but I'm curious on how will your app work. Do I need a minimum of DS to hold in order to be able to use it? Will I need to consume DS tokens to use it? Just wondering how much to buy for some tests when it's deployed :B

Good question. πŸ˜‡ These all will be on deep.af of course but 25M $DS would be enough.

I have a question, what is the utility of the $DS if the model is running locally? (I love the landing btw!)

The app will be $DS-gated. Holders will use it without any fees. Deep.af won’t utilize any remote servers for those with privacy concerns. For those without privacy concerns, Deepseek’s own product or Venice.ai is already available. 🫑

Gotcha, what would be the difference between using Deep af or a UI like open-webui or ollama?

Good question. You can ask this about any tokenized business model around here. Take Venice.ai, they charge you to use open-source models, and there’s no real privacy guarantee, just a claim. With Deep.af, privacy isn’t just an option, it’s the only way it works. Plus I don’t want you to spend money on subscriptions. Just hold a token while you use it, and if you’re done, you can sell it. Simple as that. Another plus I love experimenting with such things, and this is perfect thing for experimentation. It will definitely differentiate from others.
